New Outfits for Kings XI Punjab
Seems that Kings XI organizers and Provogue (apparel sponsors) did a hasty apparel job prior to the start of the tournament.
The side sported a new jersey in the 3rd match. The previous one was like the Deccan Charger’s one, red color scheme instead of grey.
Change is good. So they’ve new trousers in their 6th match. No big change but looks better with the ‘red spot’ near the knee removed.
The new outfits looks hip and cool.

The Strongest Teams of IPL (on Paper)
The following was my opinion a week before IPL started.
The teams strength in descending order:
Chennai Super Kings > Deccan Chargers > Kolkata Knight Riders > Delhi Daredevils > Kings XI Punjab > Mumbai Indians > Royal Challengers Bangalore > Rajasthan Royals
With a third of IPL completed, we see that players be selected on performances and not on reputation.

Yellow Fans of Chennai
The Yellow Fever has gripped Chennai. So what’s the big deal, we’re all yellow fans?
Spectators of the Chennai - Delhi match were given Yellow plastic fans. The people were happily swaying, keeping them cool and supporting the team.
It’s peak summer in Chennai and as the Set Max CJ (Cricket Jockey!) Sonali say: “It’s like a sauna here. It’s so hot that you can feel the hot air being inhaled into your lungs”.
A clever marketing strategy by the organizers. Forget the mexican wave, the yellow wave looks cute while watching from a distance (opposite stands or on TV).
Three cheers for the Super Kings at MAC, Chepauk. Entertainment, cricket and a yellow fan.
