Have you Lost Interest in IPL?
Is watching cricket daily lead you to burnout?
Honestly, yes in my case. During the first 10-14 days of IPL, I used to watch almost daily.
Why so?
- 2 matches in a row for 2 days.
- more controversies than tight matches?
- return of star (Aus, NZ and West Indian) players
I got some personal reasons too:
- don’t watch much of TV (more into Movies, TV Shows and Books)
- don’t like to do anything continuously (even while watching a movie, I take breaks)
Technically I do watch almost all the matches but not fully.
Now I watch only when I’ve nothing to do or when Chennai Super Kings plays.
Don’t get me wrong. I love IPL. Honestly I like this format more than ODIs or Tests. But too much of sugar spoils the juice.

There are just too many IPL games to keep track of. They should have had an every alternate day kind of thing.
^^
Yeah or they should’ve had a break in between the tournament for a week or so. I hardly ‘remember’ any matches the next day.
Not at all..
Yesterday only, I was thinking that what will I do once IPL gets over..
Right now, after a toiling day at work, I go home, stretch out on my bed, start TV and keep watching IPL matches till end…What will be my schedule after IPL is over…Already I have started to miss it.. I am too scared !!
A cricket manic that I am !!
Haha! Good for you. Nevertheless IPL rocks and it’s going to be bigger than ever next year.
