Are you more Loyal to City or National Team?
Sehwag was booed and scorned in Hyderabad, Jayasuriya was cheered in Mumbai.
IPL has brought a welcome refreshing outlook in cricket. Initially we were supporting any team but as the IPL progressed we’re seeing loyalty coming in place.
While watching yesterday duel against KKR, my cousin said he wanted CSK to win. This was what he said:
I feel bad if CSK looses, more than if India losses.
Even I feel the same. I’m more ‘loyal’ to CSK than to Indian team.

Rememebr that U r first an Indian and then a Chennai-ite .. So dont let region-bias go over your head !!
Yeah. India comes before Chennai. But CSK comes before Indian team.
If you ask someone in Manchester or London people, they say they’ll support Man U or Arsenal more than England.
Me too support Chennai Super Kings more than Indian team… Don’t know why.. But I do.. May because the competition among various national teams is not as good as what we see in the IPL>.
Ahh… nice point. In international cricket hardly 7-8 teams play well, the rest are minnows. We’re seeing some 6 teams toiling to book their berth in the semis….
It depends on who is playing, if Mumbai is playing bloody hell I will support Mumbai if India is playing I will cheer for India, that does not mean that if Yuvi hits 6 sixes for India I will support him when he is captaining Mohali against us, I will cheer and celebrate when he hits it for India but when Mumbai is playing, screw all anti-MI.
